Photography
I enjoy photographing people, places and the small details that make an image interesting. I also do the colour work and retouching myself.
02
Graphic Design
Here’s a mix of graphic design work I’ve done across print, editorial, branding and promotional projects.
03
Book Covers
I’ve designed book covers for different kinds of stories and publications. When the full wrap is available, I like showing the front, spine and back together.
04
Advertising
This includes posters, flyers, signs and other promotional pieces I’ve worked on.
05
Logos & Branding
Here are some of the logos and identity work I’ve created for print and digital materials.
06
Print Design
I’ve worked on brochures, calendars, booklets and other pieces where the finished print matters as much as the design on screen.
07
Art & Illustration
These are a few drawings, paintings and personal pieces that are part of my work outside regular design projects.
08
Digital Design
This section includes digital artwork, image compositing and interface work I’ve made for screen-based projects.

About Matias
Hi, I’m Matias.
I’m Matias Alasagas. I’ve worked in graphic design for years, across publishing, print, branding, digital design, photo editing and photography.
I studied Art, Advertising & Graphic Design at George Brown College and made the Dean’s Honour List. Since then, my work has included book covers, editorial layouts, brochures, advertising, branding, digital graphics, interface assets, photo retouching and print production.
Working on both design and production taught me that a piece still has to work after it leaves the screen. I’m used to taking a project from the first idea through the final file, including the image corrections and production details needed to get it ready.
I enjoy photography for many of the same reasons I enjoy design. Composition, colour, balance and small details all change what a viewer notices first.
